Entry #6

I had a lot of fun taking this class. I think this was an interesting class and I like how everything was coming out. I learned how to do a lot of things and what they are meant. I had also did the Summary assignment and the Instructions assignment. I learned a lot with the 3 assignments.  Now I know how to actually do instructions in some words. Before I would always say thing by thing and it would take me forever to get it right.  Then I found out that instructions for anything is based in just doing them and not to give so much details and explanations. I think I did learned something new. I also learned how to do a long essay to make it in a little summary. This helped me to get big things into small words and better understanding. I have learned the most in this 3 assignments and also in the others.

Entry #5

I am finished with my 3 assignments I need to turn in.  I had picked the best ones I think that I did. I had been going over each of the assignments and doing them all over in the computer. I think the best one I had done is the six words assignment. This was about me when I had got married. This assignment had made me think in something interesting and how to write about my life in so little words. I named this assignment “Life. Getting engaged at young age” this really talks about when i had got engaged at age 17 and got married at age 18.  I didn’t knew at first how to write it but then I had learned and I think it was really interesting.

I went over my memoriam today and I think that I learned how it works. Before I wasn’t sure what it was but I really learned what it is and what it is meant. This assignment really meant a big thing in my life. I learned to talk about something about me and how to express myself in so little words. This also taught me the lesson that I could be able to write anything I would like and how to write it. This also showed me that I am able to express myself in so many ways not just poems or a “big book of my life” this is part of my life and in a paper or two. I like to do this and I will keep doing them more often.

I been working in by portfolio this last week. I have been thinking some ways I’m going to be able to do it. I was thinking to put the 3 papers that i had learned the most instead of the one I did better. For me it would be better to know that I tried my best and I will show the ones I did learned more then the ones I got better scores. I learned much more then what i thought i was going to learn. this class has showed me more then what i had heard. also, by taking this class i had notice that i learned more then what i knew.

I have been checking my work and revise them. now I have just Printing them out and I’m going to go over them to see which one is better. i had thought about the summary and the memoriam (I think that’s how you spell it) these two are some that I had notice that I reallylearned something from it. I will still revise more and try to see if i have others that are better. i have been going over them all and i think i will choose the best one. One of the ones i liked was the one that we had to do the cover letter and the resume. this would be one that i liked but i may not put for the reason that i have done something similar like it, and i want to add something interesting and what i learned this semester.

Hello (entry #1)

Hello, one of my topics for the portfolio is going to be the summary. I think that this paper will help in English 0950 for next semester for the reason that it made me think of the things we need to write and what things we need to take away. I believe that if we would have a lot of practice we would learn more. If we have papers to do that need to be taken away some thing off I think I would be able to go back to this assignment and i would be able to get feedback from this assignment. This assignment really helped me a lot to be able to focus in the other work I had.
